FAQ

Direct answers, no marketing fluff.

The questions buyers ask before signing with an automation vendor. Answered from what Memesis AI actually does — not from what sounds good in a pitch.

Pricing & contracts

What does Memesis cost?

Memesis AI uses the Robot as a Service (RaaS) model: we build, deploy, and maintain the robots for you. Priced per robot per month based on complexity: Visionary €398, Innovator €799, Expert €1,222. Analysis, implementation, and testing time is included in the tier.

See the full pricing page with tier details →

Do you charge per bot?

Yes, per robot per month at the tier matching that robot's complexity (€398 Visionary, €799 Innovator, €1,222 Expert). Each robot covers one process workflow.

Is there a setup or implementation fee?

No separate setup fee. Analysis, implementation, and testing time is included in the tier — up to 30 hours on Visionary, 50 hours on Innovator, and 70 hours on Expert. Work within that allocation is included in your subscription price. Extra modifications beyond the included allocation are charged separately (€300 Visionary / €500 Innovator / €650 Expert per modification).

Implementation & timeline

How long until we're live?

Memesis AI builds, tests, and deploys the robot for you. The implementation hours included per tier (30h Visionary, 50h Innovator, 70h Expert) give a scope ceiling; calendar time depends on requirements clarity and your team's availability for review checkpoints.

For a realistic timeline estimate on your specific process, book a 20-minute demo and bring the process details — we'll tell you honestly what to expect.

Do we need a developer or IT team?

No. With RaaS, Memesis AI builds, runs, monitors, and maintains everything. Your team specifies business rules and reviews exceptions — no staffing, training, or bot operations required on your side.

What if our processes change after the robot is built?

Memesis Studio is the visual environment where AI Agents are built and configured. Process changes are handled by modifying the workflow definition — no rebuild required.

Modifications are handled by the Memesis team. Each tier includes free modifications (1 on Visionary, 3 on Innovator and Expert). Additional modifications are charged at €300, €500, or €650 respectively.

Product capabilities

What's the difference between RPA and AI Agents?

Both are automation tools. They solve different problems.

Use RPA (Software Robots) when…

  • The process is entirely rule-based and repetitive — data entry, copy-paste, form submission
  • All inputs are structured: spreadsheets, database exports, consistent form fields
  • The process doesn't change — strict rules, no judgment calls required
  • You need maximum reliability: fewer errors when the rules are clear

Use AI Agents when…

  • Inputs are unstructured or variable: scanned documents, emails, PDFs in different formats
  • The process requires judgment: matching an invoice to a PO, routing an exception, flagging anomalies
  • Data comes in multiple forms: text, images, email body copy, attachments
  • The process evolves: AI Agents adapt to new patterns without full reprogramming

Most real back-office workflows use both: a Software Robot handles the structured steps; an AI Agent handles document reading and exception routing.

What systems does Memesis integrate with?

Memesis Software Robots and AI Agents connect to your applications through their user interfaces or available APIs — which means they can interact with virtually any desktop or web-based system without requiring a native connector or API on your end.

We've built robots for ERP systems, CRMs, accounting platforms, HR tools, and custom web applications. Email us about your specific stack and we'll confirm whether we've worked with it before.

Can AI Agents produce incorrect outputs ("hallucinations")?

Yes. This is a real and acknowledged limitation of AI systems, including Memesis AI Agents. We design workflows with human review checkpoints for decisions where errors have material consequences.

In practice this means:

  • AI Agents are suited for tasks where errors are catchable before they cause harm — document extraction and exception flagging, where a human reviews the output before it enters a system of record
  • For decisions with material financial or legal consequences, Memesis designs workflows with mandatory human-in-the-loop checkpoints
  • Memesis Orchestrator logs every robot and AI Agent action, so if an error occurs it is traceable and correctable

If your use case requires near-zero-error automation on structured, rule-based data, RPA (not AI Agents) is likely the right tool.

Support & operations

What's the support SLA?

Support is via ticket system on all tiers. Response time: max 5 working days (Visionary), max 3 working days (Innovator), max 2 working days (Expert).

See full tier details →

Is support available in Romanian?

Yes. Memesis AI SRL is a Romanian-registered company and our team includes Romanian engineers. Support is available in Romanian and English.

What happens if a robot fails?

Memesis Orchestrator monitors robot executions in production. It handles scheduling, retries, and logging. Every robot execution is logged: which robot ran, when, what inputs it received, what actions it took, and whether it succeeded or raised an exception.

When an exception occurs, it is logged separately and can trigger a human-in-the-loop escalation rather than a silent failure or incorrect output entering your system.

Memesis AI's team owns the operational response. If a robot fails, the team investigates and restores it within the SLA response time for your tier.
